The Blend Top Ten: The London Coffee Festival

Back before we had produced the first issue of The Blend, the team took to the capital to get a feel for the London Coffee Festival. It was the first time the whole team got together and experienced one of the highlights of the UK coffee industry’s calendar.

The team visited Oatly for a capp-oat-ccino

We spent all of day one at the festival, and whilst taking in the vibe, we realised that this was an industry and a community that we definitely wanted to be involved in. The DJ’s playing in each of the rooms, coupled with the mood lighting and light shows, made this an event that has stuck in our minds since we visited. We’ve already got the 2018 date in our calendars and it is sure to be a fantastic event.

We took in the sights of a wide range of products, from soft drinks to protein snacks and portable coffee makers to big, flashy espresso machines. We tried our fair share of chai, matcha and cold brew, and it seems as though the London Coffee Festival is the place to be to get the latest products.

The London Coffee Festival 2018 runs from 12-15 April, and will be back at The Old Truman Brewery once again.

The Blend team looks forward to seeing you there.
